Jennifer Lopez Asks Kanye West for a Hit Song

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez is calling on Kanye West  to write her a hit song – because she is desperate to work with the rapper. The star has faced a handful of setbacks while attempting to revive her music career – she delayed the release of her seventh album, “Love?”, before eventually quitting her record label Epic Records to sign a contract with Island Def Jam.

And Lopez insists a duet with West would be a dream come true. In a post on her Twitter.com page, Lopez writes, “It’d be so fun to work with him. Kanye – when can you write THAT song for me?”

A track with West wouldn’t be Lopez’s first hip-hop collaboration – she recorded her chart-topper “I’m Real” with Ja Rule and scored another hit after singing on LL Cool J’s “Control Myself”.
