Britney Spears Collaborates With Akon in New Album

Britney Spears is going to hook up with Akon for one of the new materials in her upcoming seventh studio album. Confirming that matter is a reggae artist Predator Dub Assassins who wrote on Twitter, “Co -Writing on a track for Britney Spears ft Akon. WTF ?! What is gonna happen next?”

Beside Akon, David Guetta reportedly is also tagged to help finish this studio project. Earlier this year, KIIS-FM moreover hinted that the French DJ will produce one of the new songs. Other possible contributors included Darkchild, Cisco Adler and Sean Garrett.

More detailed info about the follow-up to 2009 “Circus” are yet to be unveiled. Concerning the release date, a representative from her label Jive Records said back in March that “there has been zero discussion about it.” A previously-proposed June release was even slammed as “BS” by Britney’s management team.
