Official: Lady GaGa to Premiere ‘Marry the Night’ Video on Dec 1
The ‘You and I’ singer confirms on Twitter that she will make public the upcoming music video this coming Thursday, December 1.
Lady GaGa has finally revealed premiere date for her much-anticipated music video which was filmed to support her latest single “Marry the Night”. She tweeted on Monday, November 28, “The ‘Marry The Night’ Video will premiere this Thursday on E!”
Parting ways with her longtime collaborator and creative director Laurieann Gibson, the Mother Monster tapped Richard Jackson to help her create fierce routine for this upcoming video. The choreographer she’s working with actually is one of Gibson’s former assistants.
“This will be the longest video I’ve released to date,” GaGa once tweeted when teasing the clip. “[It's] the beginning of the story I never told you.” Its storyline is still sketchy, but reports suggested that she might offer an autobiographical look into her life and career.
The full prelude of the video will be “7 min 33 seconds & 15 frames.” In it, GaGa gives a monologue while lying unconsciously on a hospital gurney. “When I look back on my life, it’s not that I don’t want to see things exactly as they happened, it’s just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way,” she says.
Beside preparing for the video, GaGa is also busy getting ready for her next tour. “She’s doing prep for the next round of touring, and she’s always doing 25,000 things in a row,” her musical collaborator DJ White Shadow told MTV News. “But I think the main focus for her after this season is going to be prepping up for the show, touring new songs for the record.”
